People are/were VERY careful and respectful - lets be honest, beater or not, you don't wanna be "that guy" who hit one of the expensive cars. People show up in EVOs, STis, Audis, BMWs, and not just older ones either... one of the guys I beat in heat 3 was in a e36 e28is. Sure, there is a risk, and yes, insurance would not cover this kind of thing, but there's always a risk in wheel-to-wheel racing, you get over it.

Because my ***** are only delirium, I don't think I'd do an actual RACECongrats, and glad to see not all Z owners are fair weather wimps!

but i guess its a learning experience to NOT drift uphill in snow/ice hahaha
the guys with the ram 1500 and my friend with the suv towed me out lol
drivable yes, alot of counter-steering, alot of throttle control and alot of bravery lol but sometimes summer treads just isnt enough

Since you picked up a set of 17" does that mean you run a Performance with a viscous diff? I'll bet the car is much more of a handful without one.
What width tires did you run on? I run 215/60/16 Blizzaks front and rear on steelies
Nice pic btw.

Drifting on icy streets, uphill, with summer crap tires on. Talk about public danger.
when no one is driving?
like 2 cars pass my street every day hahaha

fritz- it's a Track, the 17s just BAARRREEELY clear the brakes
225x50 front 225x55 rear Hakkapeliitta RSi -- to whoever said RE040s, please tell me you are KIDDING?! those things are useless below 45deg on DRY pavement. Even my Pilot Sport PS2s aren't much good below 40 in the rain.
