ARP studs are cheaper and stronger than NISMO. Custom order though...

Where do you get those APR Studs and how much do they run for a set of 20?

www.arp-bolts.com

they don't have a part # for the 350Z studs yet, but it's very similar to another off-the shelf application. If you want longer ones, it's custom order. It usually works out to ~ $2-$5 per stud. I got a complete set on a group buy for my Nissan 240 for $45 (68mm length) but the knurl and thread pitch for the Z are different.

I'll buy, but don't have time to organize it. If you find a vendor willing to organize it, that will work best. Maybe Forgedinternals? or any other vendor that carries ARP products.

I would be happy to organize it myself even. Does anyone have Detailed Specs for 60mm Studs for our cars?

Just send ARP a stock stud ($2 at nissan parts) and tell them how much longer you want them. that way you know they get the knurl dimensions just right.

Good idea. Wonder how many folks might want in? I better contact ARP first, I also posted up a message asking if any of our vendors already have a relationship with them.

According to one site, our lugs have a 14.3mm Knurl, or 0.56342 Inches.

Can you just buy a set of studs in a different Thread and get matching lugs?

Hi everyone. I was contacted about sponsoring a "special purchase" of custom ARP wheel studs for the 350Z. ARP doesnt permit group buys, so this is NOT a GB.

That said, I need to gather a little more information before contacting ARP with this order.

I imagine that some members are going to want stock lengths, and other would prefer longer length studs. Is this correct?

The challenge with doing a custom order, is they typically want $2000 minimum purchase for custom orders, and thats a LOT of wheel studs.

And if people are requesting different lengths, this might not be possible.

Longer studs, seem only suitable for those using wheel spacers, and I have heard that stock Nissan studs are too short to be certified for true road race use/track days.

Anyone have anymore feedback on this?

so is a good setup to use the H&R 5mm spacer with 50mm nismo hub bolts?

I currently have the H&R 5mm spacers, but not on yet. So the bolts they come with aren't good enough to use and I should go with the longer 50mm nismo bolts?

Since they seem to be about $2 per bolt, that would be about 100 Sets of 20, or 80 Sets of 25 (For Spares). Maybe Half in 50mm and half in 60mm length?
