I've run our stock 350ZR about 6 times at different road courses over the past year. It is good up to about 90% of the limit. Just this past weekend at Thunderhill, I pushed the brakes harder (Brembos with race pads and Motul 600 fluid) and I faded the brakes/boiled the fluid. I'm running on four 17x9.5" CCWs with 275/40 Hoosier R3S05s now. If you want a track-only Zcar, I'd get the cheapest base you can find, lighten it up even more, and add the Quaife LSD and a BBK. Build the suspension from there, but it's not necessary...
