According to the Elise guys the 17x7.5 +32 weighs 17lbs. (4x100 bolt pattern)

worst case, you can buy those and have them re-drilled because they just had a huge group buy in that exact size and there are tons in stock for the Elise.
Well, this doesn't really help. The link is to Rota's website, not to someone actually selling ROta wheels in my size. As I said before, I spoke to two different reps who said that the Slipstreams are not available for my application.

As for the Enkeis, as I have stated many times, they are on National backorder for over 90 days. Not to mention that I ahve also stated that they do not come in the correct offset and I will not run spacers.

So, if anyone can point me in the direction of someone who actually has the Slipstreams, then I'm back to buying Volks.

My patience blows!! lol

Looking at their website, they make great stuff, but the cost isn't great as a ratio to weight of rims. IF I can get the Slipstreams from Rota I will, if not I'll get the Volks. At $500 a rim for Bogart and Volk, the only deciding factor is weight. The Volks weigh 13.2 pounds.

How the hell are you man?

From Rays..... I think I was a little off. The 17x7.5's weigh 13.8 pounds and the 17x8's weigh 14.3 pounds.

Damn autocross classing limits my modding. It's good for my wallet though. I spoke to MANY vendors today and am still waiting on about 4 call backs for pricing on the Volk LE28N in black with silver lip. So far I have two offers that stand out: $1900 shipped rims only and one is $1950 with rims, lugs, and valve stems..... not sure about the pricing on the Rotas.

sounds pretty good, my wedsports were like $1400, and I doubt they're less than 17-18lbs each haha.

I wonder what class I'd get embarassed in if I went autocrossing

I bet that you would be in a Mod class, like B Mod. It would not be pretty on the National level, but locally I bet you wouldn't have much competition.

you'd have to do some hardcore modifications to fit into a mod class. doubt it'd be b-mod either. maybe emod or something.

most of the modifications that people do to their 350s would probably just place them in SM.

350Z does not fit in SM or BMod no matter what you do to it. BS, BSP, SM2, XP or EM are your options.

Then I'd say SM2 for Mike.

The Z fits into SM2, I should know that is what they make me run.

The best site to see all wheels made is www.wheelspecs.com
We use the Enkei wheels 18 x 8.5 and just received 4 18 x 9. They are light and looks great and we road race our car. We may have a set of 18 x 8.5 used wheels for sale as we have on order two sets of 18 x 10's. I dont think you can go wrong with Enkei, especially for the price. Call Craig Ritchie at 317-538-3137 for availablility and pricing and tell him Bob Hines sent you.

Thanks Bob, but as I have stated at least twice in this very thread, Enkei does not make the RPF1 in the right size/offset, and they do not have any available in the US in 17" for at least 90 days. Thanks for the offer, though.

I'm closing in on sealing a wheel deal up. I've been getting pricing on the Volk LE28N in Black with the polished lip, and it's down to three vendors:

HPF
Status
F1

They are all very similar in pricing, so after one more call to each place, I'm going to place my order.

If you have to shift to 1st gear, you're not going fast enough I never have to shift into 1st in my STS-spec 89 Civic.
