I recently was in the exact position you are (or were when you started this thread). I REALLY wanted the RPF1, but I found what you found - zero availability, and yes, the undesireable front offset problem.

Another choice if you want to mix and match front and back wheels, and don't mind paying more money, is the Gram Light 57F.

The 57F might almost match the 5zigen FN01R-C if they were the same color. I thought about it, but the Gram Light was too much $$$ for me.

 

I have seen the 57F and the FNO1R, but where did you find the Black Racing wheels? How much do they weigh????

 

Well, I shouldn't be surprised, but I kinda am. While ordering the Volk LE28N's, the vendor told me that the smallest offset is +43! Damnit.... he sent a message to Volk in Japan asking if there's any smaller offset for the black rims.... if not, I'll get the gunmetals IF they have those in the right offset. If not, I guess I'll be going back to the CE28N's in bronze because I know they come in +33 all around.

 

I hope you weant with F1. I've dealt with them and thier service has been unprecedented. Chris is the man.

 

You are correct, Chris IS the man. I highly recommend F1 to EVERYONE.

At this point, Chris is waiting on a message back from Volk in Japan, to see if we can get the LE28's made for me in black with polished lip. If not, then hopefully the Gunmetal with polished lip is available. If not, then we'll go with the CE28N's in bronze. I hope I can get the LE28's in black.

 

Just to reiterate, Chris @ F1 is the MAN. He's been awesome helping me find rims for my car, just awesome. He literally has my best interests in mind. I cannot WAIT the 10 weeks that it will take to receive my rims!
