Great pictures as usual JMark and thanks for all the help during the weekend. In answer to some of the questions: we road race the car in SCCA national races and will take the car to the national championships in October in Topeka at Heartland Park. The car is classified as Touring 2 (T-2) which has a very limited number of modifications that are allowed. Its sort of a modified showroom stock class. The Roebling Road track is in need of a repaving and the track manager told me it will get paved in 30 days. The temperatures were in the mid 90's with a monday track temperature of 153 degrees for our race which was the first one after lunch. We won both sunday and monday against one of the factory sponsored Subaru's. I believe we are the first team to beat any of the 3 factory (read overkill) Subaru's. Our car is very well prepared with just about all the performance options that are legal to use and we also tested a new kumho tire that is a little larger than what we have been using and as usual Kumho comes thru with a great tire compound. We also used a 18 x 9 wheel on the rear for the first time. Our team is out of Arlington, Virginia and mostly run Northeast Division races but have been going to Roebling Road for the double races on the 4th of July weekend for 3 years. The yellow decals you see are sponsors with proven products most of whom have been with us for many years. Kumho and Red Line oil for 9 years. Previous to the "Z" car we ran 2 different Camaros in T-2 winning a national championship in 1999 in the rain at Mid-Ohio. The "Z" car has a great suspension and handles extemely well as a road race car. Our next race will be at Lime Rock, Connecticut on July 28 and 29. They dont race on Sunday there.
