I want to see some of you my350 guys down in Greensboro for the 2006 NCAC. The event is scheduled for August 19th and 20th, at the Greensboro Coliseum. The coliseum has an amazing, large lot, with some elevation changes.
I'm asking all of you to come out and support this event! Last year was a blast and this year will only get better!
For those who don't know, NCAC is an event held by the four main auto-x clubs in NC, Tarheel Sports Car Club, Central Carolinas Region SCCA, Highlands Sports Car Club, and Triad Sports Car Club. This year, the NCAC is being sponsored by THSCC.
The objective to this is to see which club is the best and who will take home the club cup trophy. Points are given out based on class finishes, as well as FTD, FTP, FTPax, FTSP, FTM, etc.
If anybody is interested in coming, please direct yourself to www.auto-x.com, where you can find a preregisteration link on the homepage.
There should be significant competition in BS (class for stock 350zs), including:
1. myself
2. Mike B. aka Hippie
3. Brian Hertwick - 4th place at 2005 National Championship - rx8
4. Mike Whitney - e36 m3
5. Another e36 m3
and also 2-3 walk-ins that we will probably have. 1 300zx turbo and 1-2 350zs
There will also be competition in BSP.
1. matt aka mc350z
2. patrick.. aka i dont know?
3. dave o'maley - slk320
4. shane eudy - e36 m3
5. Brian Herring - 2005 STi
PM me with any questions.

This is illegal per the rules of the NCAC. This post will be reported to the Presidents of all clubs, recruitment of others not already a member is against the rules.
I will be racing both days, GST class.

The rules state:
Driver must live in North Carolina, and if they come and run at the NCAC, they must pay full club dues and run at least TWO autocrosses for that club.

The Z is not very competative with snow tires and just a front sway.
(that being said, I was .01 slower PAX than Steve at the last autox in my Z....but I'm faster than him in his car, so I think that it's the best way to go this year)
haha more competition in SM2, eh not really cause I don't stand a chance anyway, just something other than miatas (aka oversized go-karts). I'm thinking about ordering some Tokico struts this week though, so maybe I will be a little better off.

very cool
. i think youll be free of any brake issue there unlike CMP
yeah ive been autoXing almost full time for 2 years now but i still dont feel as comfortable doing it as i did on a dedicated track. you should come to our autoX in winston-salem this fall. its at the dixie classic fair grounds on this little mini course. i like it the best of everything we do because its a welcomed break from the parking lot
