Mark (YAY I got it right!!)

Those are some sweet pics... I can't wait to see them all (its gonna take me a WEEK to get through them LOL).

Looks like there's a reason they call the E30 BMWs 'bricks'

Man... My car has got to have similar aerodynamics to a file cabinet !!

But BOY is it fun to toss around

I ran it in several different run groups throughout the weekend.

I kept wondering who that guy taking pictures was.

I waved at you once at the end of the short infield straight by the paddock.

Cool. That's a nice Bimmer. I was looking for a beat up car! I see ya sold the Z for the E36 M3. I have owned both. They seem to have very similar power and both handle well. I guess the BMW is more practical. But when I owned it the taxes were horrible here in SC and eveyone thinks you work at the Plant in Greer! Here's another one I found.

Just downloaded all my data this morning.

Fastest lap at Rockingham in the Z... 1:15.199
Fastest lap at Rockingham in the M... 1:11.356

BIG difference.

Either way...still faster than you.

Oh trust me...it is beat up, you just didn't get close enough to see.

Yeah, I sold the Z to get the E36. I miss the Z big time as it was a wonderful car. However, I was at a place where it was either sell the Z and buy a track car like this, or gut/cage/mod suspension on the Z. I decided the Z could live a better life with someone else, so off it went. I also ended up making a little money after selling it and buying the BMW, so that is nice. Also, insurance and taxes are MUCH less (especially since the car is technically a 1993 325 IS).

Wow...talk about thread hijacking.
