Default Triangle Z/THSCC at Rockingham Nov 4-5

Hey everyone... just a reminder that registration is open and filling up for our HPDE and Time Trials at the North Carolina Speedway at Rockingham November 4th & 5th.

Entry is $260 if you're a member of one of the host clubs, OR you're driving a Z, OR you're a Premiere Member of My350z.com... otherwise it's $280

There are a few NASCAR garages still available for rent ($25)

Registration is again being done through MotorsportReg.com... CLICK HERE for the information and registration page.

Lunch is being catered in by Seaboard Restaurant and is included in the entry fee

Weather should be really nice in early November, and there's a chance we may have the infield curbing in place by then (with the help of the local SCCA chapter and Hurricane Region PCA)

Post, PM, or email if you have any questions!!

Thanks!!!

Just talked to Innkeeper and the block will be released Oct. 20th.

There are 4 Non-smoking rooms left, and 13 smoking rooms.

I couldn't figure out from the website (or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place) but is this HPDE just the oval or is there an infield road course that will be used? Thanks

it uses the infield road course and about 2/3 of the oval.

it's pretty wild getting to drive on the 28 degree banking. you can barely even walk up it.

I am planning on going, as soon as Stacy e mails me back to confirm there are still slots available. This is my first time doing a track event with TZC/THSCC. I have track experience at VIR, Barber, and Sumitt Point, alot of it on sport bikes, some on a loaner maita. How many sessions do you usually get in? I plan on doing the HPDE since its a new course for me. Any comments/experiences that you guys might have would be great.

AT last check we had 2 spots left, so you should be ok. Stacy will know for sure.

Last time I checked the schedule we had 3 30 minute session a day per group. This will get tweeked a bit according to registrants and group sizes. The last 1 hour of the day will be the Timetrial Competition.

Luie... you are in

Beginner/Novice group is now waitlisted
Intermediate group has two slots remaining
Advanced group has one slot remaining

Right now, three 25 minute sessions per day. I'm going to look at the schedule and time trial participation, see if I can't tweak it for at least one rotation to have 30 minute sessions.

-Stacy

Bump...

We've actually had a few cancellations, and shifted some people around, so there are a couple spots left in each run group if anyone is interested

Great track - and if you have never driven banked turns - you need to run this track!
And Mpowers became a race car driver there, and on his first race he started at the back of the pack and ended up finishing 4th overall and first in his class!

A few more teasers.....Stack will have a CD of all my pics soon for the club in a good useable size. If anyone wants high res versions of their cars it is $10 per pic or if you want a bunch of them $75 shipped for a CD of all your pics. I must say that Stack & Marty run a superb event. All the drivers were very courteous & seemed to really enjoy themselves. I hope to shoot some more of the Tri Z events next year.

I think you'll be able to see them on their website but I'll pick out the best of your car and send them to you. Nice job of driving by the way. PM me your email address.
