Awesome.
All the cars really seemed to love the weather this weekend.
It was cool to see your dad out there, too. I hope he enjoyed himself. From the little bit of green group watching I did, he seemed to improve alot.

Pricing for a high res CD of all your pics is $75 shipped. Individuals are still $10 per pic. The files are 3-5mb shot with a 10 megapixel Nikon D200.

Rockingham isn't my favorite course to drive, but as has been said before, if you have never driven the banking, you owe it to yourself to do it at least once. It is.....impressive.
BTW: Thanks, Marty for passenging my friend Tom. He had a great time & already has plans to mod his Miata. ;-) He's a very smart man; here's the plan he proposed to his wife: Wife gets a new car, Tom daily-drives wife's old car, Miata becomes track car. Smart man!

Best non-TT time 1:11:09
Best TT time, 1:12.51 - Karl held me up for two and 1/2 laps...We only got 6 minutes on Sunday due to Ron's engine woes

I think I am getting the hang of this low powered car thing. Jeff B and the Bill G still ate my lunch with 1:09's. And Matt N broke 1:10's. I think trying Matt's line I can consistantly be 1:11 and probably a 1:10 or two.

very nice job! of course I'll still school you! ;-)
I still need to refine my line a bit, having only been there a total of 3 days 1 of which was a disaster of a day in the Viper because os suspension and tire issues. I need a bit more practice, although I REALLY dont like that track, but it's track time so I cant complain!
yea, your race-preped, gutted, caged M3 sure showed my fully loaded street Miata (with the stereo and A/C on) a thing or too....oh wait we ran almost identical times.

J/K - You will eat my lunch at VIR-F for sure, but I will still give you a hard time about it If I keep you in sight.
BTW, Glen M did a great job on his first TT. I think the 350Z is treating him well.

I have gotten great response on my pics from the Rock. Stack should have all the low res files up soon. For those of you who have inquired about pics and want to purchase a couple it seems the easiest & fastest way to get them is for you to pay with Paypal and I'll email them the high res files to you. Only thing I ask is you add 4% to the charges to take care of the PP fees. For example 1 high res pic would be $10.40, 2 for $20.80 and so on. My PP address is my email address. Thanks, Mark

wait wait wait, I think you meant your, BOOSTED, fully loaded at a whopping 2300lbs running on HOOSIERS "street miata", ran almost identical times as mine on SUNDAY, so you had a whole day to practice up on me! ;-) On saturday you were down by 2 seconds! hehehe (btw, did i mention i wasnt rev'ing up 5500rpm's of a possible 7300rpm's hehehe, but hey, i'm just glad the car held up, and the rebuilt motor ran great!! going to try and get another couple hundred miles on it before VIR in feb and it should be ready to go ballz to the wallz :-D
All kidding aside, you were driving well, especially in your rainbow chick car!! ;-) the rock is a tough trck to master(which is why i havent yet) I love our little family rivalry
Thats great that glenn did well in the TT, what were his times?
I cant wait until VIR-F, i need to get my car dialed back in

Yeah, running saturday on Street tires was a handicap but I wasn't sure if the hoosiers would hold up all weekend (which they didn't) and having my Dad do his first event on race rubber wouldn't have been a great idea. Even the street tires took a beating. Glad a kept rotating them through out the weekend. Now I am going to try to find 1 or 2 R3S04's for VIR. I really am looking forward to it this year now that I am getting the car sorted out. But depending on the new addition I may not make it.
Did I mention I was playing WHAM! while driving? BTW it weights 2430 lbs..so there. Oh, and it still only makes 1/2 the HP your car does.
I am really glad the rebuilt held up. Did it feel stronger than before? It sounded good. How about the extra weight we took out of the nose? Your turn in looked sharper. Devin's car looked pretty good too, and I bet Sean will be dicing up with you too very soon.
Glen broke into the 1:11's as well, but that was measured with Stopwatches in the provisional. But Chris and crew are usually pretty good with manual timing.
Stacy looked smooth. I bet with better rubber he will take the White bulldozer/brick (or sand mover at RR) into similar times too.

Now now chillin...
One of you guys has GOT to let me drive your car in the time trial so I can whoop up on BOTH your asses
LOL j/k
How about only being three seconds off both your times in an underpowered, overweight, FULL leather, stock seatbelted, fully treaded STREET tire equipped brick of a car that I was driving?
AND I was coasting before the braking zones as well as babying the banking since I had to actually DRIVE my car to and from the track (that was for Eric).

You know I would let you drive my car............but we all know how that turned out last time!!..............OH SNAP!! hehehe
Stacy you drive that old school brick well, no doubt, you have a lot more seat time at the rock than I do, that's fo sho........now wait till we get back to roebling and north course, I have a whole bucket full of ***z to hand out!! hehehe
I was also overCOOLING my brakes, with the 4 brake ducts up front and the long "straights" and the fact i did very little braking, they never really heated up. which, for anyone who was there was VERY apparent, my car sounded like a wounded gazel in when braking!
marty, the car felt good, but the dynamics of the car were all off, the weight off the front definetly changed the turn in, almost to the point of pretty mad oversteer, i think between the alignenment being off, the change in weight, and my lack of seat time at the rock, I think next time I can easily squeek into the <1:09's, but maybe I'm dreaming....
How did you dad like the event? he seemed to be having fun...........SLOW, but fun! hehehe, (i hope he's not reading this hehehe)
