Hey guys, I've been around these forums for sometime now and am having difficulty finding an answer to this question:

What aftermarket manufacturer would you recommend for proper camber/toe adjust of the front and rear suspension?

Please allow me to explain why I'm asking such a newb question:

When I first joined, many threads pointed to the fact that 350evo made a great camber kit. They used delrin, which was much better than rubber. So, I checked out their webpage--they don't list it anymore. I contacted them directly and received no response--I assume that this part doesn't exist anymore.

I'm particularly interested in getting 0 degree camber for the rear suspension (yes, for drag racing...I'm so simple minded, aren't I?). Since you guys know the most about suspension setups, that's why I'm asking here.

Any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated...Currently, I have stock suspension, but in the future I may possibly see auto-x with a coilover setup, but for now, it's the 1320'.

I have the SPC kit for the rear and the Cusco adjsutable A-arms for the front. Both of these are affordable.

Stillen, Kinetix and JIC all make both front adjustable A-arms and rear camber and toe adjustment arms. Personally, I don't like the Kinetix front A-arms, but the others are fine.

is it just me, or can i not select the 350z from camberkit.com? i go to the website, and select nissan, 350z, 2003+, then click search. the center pane then says, 'please select your make, model and year'. i never get to see what works on the z... i sure could use some additional negative camber all around.

are the spc kits track survivable? ie, can i run over curbing with 'em and expect them to stay and/or not break?

Are you using I.E. or Mozilla? Our current cart does not support Mozilla, however, we have a new cart in developement that will support that browser. The new cart is completed and in the testing phase at the moment. It should be up in approx. 2 more weeks. Let me know if you have any other questions.

As for track use, SPC has been involved in the alignment industry for over 30 years and they have a great reputation for both street and track use. I don't anticipate any issues with track use and this product.

nope - this is IE6 (6.0.3790.1830 on W2K3 EE) and IE7 (IE7.0.5730.11 on XP SP2). i don't think i'm referring to the cart - this is the 'application guide'. i can't get results for ANY vehicle (well, I tried the Z and an acura). I can make the selections for make/model/year, but it never returns any results...

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Its weird because I can't reproduce this on my computer. The cart feeds the app. guide as well thats why I refer to it as the cart. Would you like to process your order over the phone? Or let me know which item you are looking for and I will send you the direct link.

As I stated, we will have a completely new program running within the next 3 weeks at the very latest.

Can you post a run-down of the offerings? What they are, range of adjustment, price, etc.

My initial thoughts are a-arms up front and the spc bolts out back. Right now my main issue is getting enough negative camber. While I probably will replace the stock suspension in the next year or so, I don't foresee a serious change in ride height. Ideally, I'd like to get at -2.5 up front, and -2 out back, although those are back of the envelope numbers based primarily on tire wear. If I can make toe adjustments at either end, all the better. I'm not sure what parts are necessary to achieve those goals...

To get the camber you are looking for in front, there is only one that will achieve what you are looking for: 350EVO. Yet, they keep telling me that it will be another two weeks before they have the next set - they told me that 4 months ago and yesturday!
I have been able to get my Kintex front a-arms to -2.25 camber, yet they are a pain to change! I am working on how to get -3 out of them. Yet, if I had to do it over again - I would buy nothing but the 350EVO a-arms!!!
I have heard that the Stillens are prone to change there camber settings, as for the others - they claim only -1.5 camber.

As far as the rear - they are all pretty much the same and any you choose will get you your -2 goal. Just remember that when you change the rear camber you will also change the toe!

I'd still like to know how to order camber/toe adjustment from 350EVO... I can't find their stuff on the website, so I assume it's special order only?

I have had the 350EVO front a arms for the past two years. Set at -3 degrees camber. I have not had to reset them because I only drive a short distance to and from work so street tire wear only cost a set of tires every 1 1/2 years. Allignment has not changed. Davidh changes his every track session so you might get some feedback from him on wear. I believe the only compliant he has was about the screws weraing out from tightening and lossing up to change the camber.

Good luck since I haven't had any. I am looking for a used pair - anyone got some they want to sell?

C Ray Z - why are you running -3 camber on the street? You have to have excessive wear on the inside of your tires! I would say that for the street the most negative camber you want to run is -1.5!

The reason for leaving the camber is ease of use and not having to reset the the camber every time. I do not drive the car very far so the wear is acceptable to me. I buy semetrical street tires and flip them when the inside is almost worn. I get 12000 miles this way. This is acceptable to me.

SPL Parts offers a great front camber/caster arm that definitely won't slip, is easy to adjust and is much cheaper than the Stillens or the 350EVOs. Plently of camber adjustment as well. Too bad the rear arms aren't released yet as I see you're looking for 0 camber in the rear. I'm hoping to test the prototypes in the next few weeks.

Also, if you're interest is drag racing, SPL recently released their solid differential bushings which I've been using for quite some time now. The stock silicone filled bushing didn't last long on my car after a few hard launches. These bushings will greatly reduce wheelhop on the launch as well
