try 37 or 38 psi hot. bring water, a chair, sunblock, and engine oil. the stock brake pads are supposed to suck so bring extra ones just in case you go through your rears or switch them to something else.

u might want to invest on some driving gloves. my hands tend to get sweaty and have a hard time gripping the wheel and shifter.

Before you get all defensive, they will require you run a tow hook and its a commonly forgotten part when people go to the track as most people take out their spare tire & tools before going.

Change out your OEM fluid to a higher temp fluid like Motul RBF 600, bring extra pads, a chair, water, and cash as most race tracks only take cash for gate entry, food, etc... Other than that, something not to bring is an ego, because it will be deflated as soon as you realize how much there is to learn about driving. First timers with egos usually ruin their car or somebody elses car.

Have fun and don't go beyond your limits. You will love running with the guys at SpeedVentures.

is it streets of willow or big willow? If its streets, you will probably be fine as its not to hard on brakes. Big willow is a lot faster and harder on brakes.

It takes less than 2 hours to do it, you don't have two hours between now and Sunday? It takes me 20 min now, but for a first time plan on 2 hours.

Better than boiling the fluid and coming into a turn without any brakes!

What organization are driving with? I bet they have a recommended stuff to bring and do before you get to the track. Read it, or you may not pass tech and you will not be able to run and not get a refund! You have to expect to spend some quality time with your baby (car) before you get to the track.

Here is a good list of what to before you go: http://www.chinmotorsports.com/faq/carprep/carprep.asp

Not at all. There are mods (such as the Z-bracket) that make it default to install a tow hook. Installing the hook may be required.

Go to the site at www.speedventures.net

They have a list of things to bring to the track, as well as a tech sheet to follow.

ive done streets on stock pads and fluids and it was fine. you will notice some fade but if its your first track day, might take a bit for you to warm up to the course. last time i went i had ss lines, fluid and projuct u bforce pads. i didnt like the initial bite on the pads but they held up for me lap after lap.

bring a friend. spare tire in case. tools. water. chair. camera. warm clothes.

i set my tires to 35 cold. some things you might do before you go are bleeding the brakes and changing your oil. i also did a transmission and differential oil change before the last track event. have fun and bring back some good pictures/videos.
