Finally got to see the finished car on display after volunteering a lot of time restoring the suspension and driveline. Its really an amazing vehicle and if you're in Dearborn, take the time to visit the Henry Ford Museum.

I see it's called "Goldenrod" , was that code for "looks like a *****" back when it was made?

 

409mph? does it run on skiis or something instead of tires?

it was 4 wheel drive...I'm still hoping to get a car out to the Salt flats to run a legal top speed test - too bad I won't get near 400 MPH!
