so you put a 275 wide tire on something that should have a 225 width tire on it??? wow, and to think 255 was a bit much to begin with. Good luck with that setup! I hope it holds for you. if you don't roll the sidewalls you will be lucky. What color is your car and where do you run? just want to be sure to not ride with or near ya

I have a set of 18 chromies that came stock on my car. Rears factory were 255 and just last week I put on a 275. The sidewalls definately flare out slightly but for street use I wasn't worried about it. I couldn't imagine if I went with a 305 which would be equivalent to what you are doing.

Well, luckily the Kuhmos have colossal sidewalls.
I'll be posting pics tonight. The tires flare like a ****. The installer thought I was f'n crazy.

I run in CCR. You'll see me at the SpeedFed Nationals this weekend if you're coming there as well.
Here's what the car looked like with the Azenis.

This is an old topic that is discussed often in this forum. Here's another thread discussing the same setup.

Yeah last night got crazy.
My Z was spun out and wrecked by my co-driver this past Sunday, and we went straight to the wheel shop after work to get stuff done. We're racing this Sunday at SpeedFed, and have to take care of some more body work and exhaust after work today.
I hope to post pics when I arrive home tonight.
Regrets guys, sorry

LOL! The first that they will be used is this Saturday, to scrub off the tires before the event Sunday.

^+1 I'm the only who has ever driven my Z, except for my wife for about 10 minutes when I first got it. Man, I hope your "co-driver" pays for the damages.

I don't mind at all.

We've been racing together for about 5 years, we're both founding members of Southern Shift Racing. I co-drove his car for two seasons (won a season STS title in his car) and then we co-drove my Civic Si.....now we are co-driving both my Z and his EVO IX RS.

I have to have someone put heat in the Kuhmos!

I have actually never "raced" with SCCA. this sept. they are hosting a DE at Rockingham that for the price I couldn't pass up. However, according to SCCA guidelines I believe I would be BSP. if i'm not, I would love to know if you can help.
