I've been debating getting out to one of these. I'm going to look at my schedule and see if I can get out.

Hopefully you can make it... if you've never done one before, ours would be a great start, we're very beginner/novice friendly. Email or PM me if you have any questions!

Seriously, at least there were two other Z's at Shenandoah this past weekend. Tmak26b drove down from Connecticut or some place like 9+ hours away... that's dedication right there!

We usually have a decent turnout at our events... but we could do better (if everyone would stop selling their Zs and buying BMW's! )

At our event on VIR North two weeks ago, we had... 4 280Zs, 1 240Z, 1 Z31, 1 Z32, and 3 350Zs ... so 10 Z cars... not too bad... but I'd still like to see more.

So which is less of a horsepower track, Roebling or CMP?

edit- CMP is definitely more technical!

Wow, after watching some videos I think I'm down for some CMP! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0459e4VJhIM

I drove 18 hours to the Z Nationals meet held by Z1 in Georgia. You'll live.

Just make sure you have some tread left on your tires, some pad left, and your fluids are good to go. I've tracked twice in my Z as is now and had a blast. Its the better way to learn too.

Is the $275 fee for one day or both?

Sucks , most people with a Z would rather just try look pretty with it and brag about how cool it is , than drive their car. Just trying to get people to do an autocross is hell , day at the track HPDF style , ta right.

Definitely! Especially your first couple or three times out. Most recommend having the brake fluid flushed at least, never a bad idea to upgrade to some high-temp synthetic as well. Bring a back-up set of brake pads, or upgrade them to a high quality performance pad like Hawk HP+, Pagid Blue Sport. Stay away from full on race pads until you have full on race tires.

Our events require your car to be inspected by a mechanic (on a lift) using our tech guide and tech form

Other than that... show up with an open mind, lots of water or Gatorade, and a desire to learn and have fun!

All our fees are for two days (except the instructor clinic/advanced lapping on Friday June 15th at Roebling Road)

Wow, thats awesome. I'm definitely going to sign up for one of these. I have a couple of events coming up here in Pocono in June, they are $250/day!

Just got back from an Infineon event, and I was the only guy out there with a Z. There must have been over 60 cars out there, including 4 ferraris, 2 vipers, and an original GT40! Most of the participants drove WRX Sti's, Evo's, BMW's and Porsche's. I would have thought a relatively 'inexpensive' 350z would be more popular at these HPDE's.
