I don't think nascar is that bad. Boring at times but not bad. You have to admit the crashes are pretty good.

The Porsche 959 was designed as a rally car...so I'm sure the Z could with an all-wheel drive system, super-heavy duty suspension, a lot more power, a lot less weight, a lot more bracing, and a very brave driver.

Why? Can you point to one part of the pic that looks fake? Or are you just saying that because you're a regular picture pessimist?

If you look at pics of Casanova's apartment... that looks fake. This pic... not fake.

There is actually a 350Z being rallied in Europe on Tarmac rallies, in the new GT class that they have in the European National series. I saw a picture of it in Autosport about a month ago, its very close to stock (Rays wheels and Bremebo's still on it), as the rules require, but has the mandated safety equipment.

Actually the 959 was designed as a Road Race car until the series that it was supposed to race in never got off the ground. Porsche did race the car (961 was the designation for the road race car) at LeMans and the Daytona 24hrs but shelved the car after those two races. Porsche then looked to rallying to use it and developed the Dakar version.

Ya that is one bad *** car though. You dont hear of many Z's in rally races, but Coleman, from Sport Compact Car, did rally a Nissan Spec-V for a while. It did pretty well too.

You can always start Rally Crossing with your 350Z. Its basically autocross in the dirt and here in SoCal Jayson Woodruf runs the events out in Johnson Valley.
