that is what i figured they would look like. are you going to make it as angled or make them rounder on the outside edges (not the louvers)

and I know AIT, VIS also makes one just like it! )

ideally.. i want this fairly inexpensive and readily available. not just to Z racers-- to other people that want vents.

my requirements are that:
1. the price will need to cover the initial mold costs and materials.
2. price will have to be reasonable in which the company that is making for me/us would even want to talk to me about manufacturing it. (common business sense)
3. cost be reasonable as to give more options to people contemplating aftermarket vented hoods

sound logical to everyone?

sunline racing makes the big vent too. its a common drop in vent style in japan, but you can't drop it in on the oem hood because of the two creases in it.

from personal experience, i've got the AIT the big vents are HUGE. cheston's will look alot smoother.

I'm interested; my TT'ed G35 gets rather warm on track days, especially long track sessions!

talkin' to some companies now.
Call Stan at Benchmark Composites. He can do the tooling and make the parts. I use him to make all the CF and Fiberglass parts I sell for S30s and S130s. Stan makes race parts, not bling bling stuff.
