yea man. you know i wouldnt do that. the company doing the mfg hasn't called me back. i'm assuming a larger project is taking their priority. my vents? are peanuts compared to the carbon fenders, hoods. roofs they're making for race teams.. (sigh)
Here's the secret:
Next time you visit Stan and Brent, bring donuts. Works for me 'cuz some of my parts got snuck through ahead of yours...
Donuts, the grease of small shop production.

Well... I'm also the guy that referred Chester to Benchmark Composites, I'm also the guy that checks with Stan every now and then to see how things are going for Chester, I'm also the guy who brought Stan at Benchmark my 350Z so he could get a better idea of what he was building for Chester.
Ultimately Chester will get his parts and they will be very well made. As with any business, Benchmark is trying to balance the demands of existing customer who've spent tens of thousand of dollars with the company over the years with brand new customers. Its a tough balancing act especially for a small job shop. If it was your business, which customer would you want to **** off the least?

Stan likes the donuts from the donut shop at the NW corner of Centralia and Norwalk about a block east of his shop. He'll ***** and complain about you bringing him the donuts, but he won't ask you to take them away...
OK, sometimes I miss the humor in posts.
i was just being silly because you said you bribed them with donuts
I bet if you setup a grill in the alley and cooked them steaks for lunch, you'll have your parts the next day. They wouldn't get them done the same day because Stan and Brent would be in a food coma all afternoon.

This thread needs to stay alive. I really liked the concept and where this was going. It would be a shame to quit now. So any luck on the vents? My hood is going to get a paint job soon and it would be nice to have these installed at the same time (wishful thinking). How long does this usually take to make, hopefully the new re-designed Z wont be out by then JK
