Momo steering wheel swap, airbag light wont turn off? with pics!
I swapped in a MOMO mod 80 steering wheel on a 2007 350Z car that we are preparing for T2 competition. The problem that I am running into is that even with the "air bag delete" wire that is included with the kit, the light is still flashing and very distracting.
Anyone have any ideas?
Here are some pics anyway of the start of the build. Currently its a track day car, but this winter its going to full T2 trim.

1. did you use TWO 2.0ohm resistors for the airbags?
2. did you start the car before putting the resistors in?
3. did you accidentally twist the steering column when putting the hub on?
4. did you try to do the SRS reset procedure?

to answer your questions:
1. No, Momo included one, I called to ask they said just goes on the orange lead.
2. No, I did not start the car before they were in
3. Nope, I marked center on the steering shaft, and the hub around it and then taped them together so it would not get misaligned.
4. Going to do the reset now. Thanks!

it needs two.. thats why ur getting the SRS light. what you can do is get a 2.0 ohm resistor and put it in the other plug. there is an orange and yellow . stock steering wheel has two inputs. so it's expecting two resistors..
you'll need to put in another resistor and do the airbag reset procedure.
should be in the clear after that.

search the Interior forum for "Airbag Resistor" i have a pretty big write up in a thread i posted for side airbag fooling for race seats.
and for the steering wheel, you'll need two resistors (2 ohm each ) for the two airbag wires in the steering wheel.
