Default Clutch issues on the track - HELP!

Clutch goes to the floor after about 20 minutes of driving on the track.

Just got back from a member day at MSR Cresson chasing around Spec Miatas (what fun!!!!!!!) Running the 1.7 mile course CCW for those who know the track. Sessions are 30 minutes.

Was running the same track in the instructor group during a BMW event on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Sessions were about 20 minutes, we were chasing around each other (again what fun) and at the end of the session the clutch pedal was half way down to the floor.

So all the days I was running hard. I do heel and toe braking.

After coming into and letting the car cool down, the pedal travel is normal.

One of the guys who works at MSR was out on the skid pad last week drifting around with his 2006 350Z had the same problem.

The solution is??????????

How about tell us what year car you own?

There are issues for the 07 Clutches doing this. Rebleeding them with high-temp fluid seems to fix the problem.

Your clutch fluid has absorbed moisture.

Flush and re-fill and see if that doesn't fix it.

2007.

Have a month old bottle of SRF, so that will do the job.

Thanks!

also worth mentioning that if the car is modded you might want to upgrade the line to one with a heat-wrap, cheap to do but at least when I was TT it was well worth it... before and after was night and day
