The SCCA allowed us to move up from 18 x 8.5 last year to 18 x 9 fronts and 18 x 10 rears. This gives the car great balance and with the spring and sway bar package allowed, it makes the car handle very neutral. The JRZ 3 way shocks dont hurt either. The touring rules can be found at www.scca.com/documents/Club%20/rules/Touring.pdf and scroll down to page 19 of the specifications. Rob and Don Knowles will team up with tim Hund and Kurt from Phoenix for the 13 hour race at VIR first weekend in November with a car that Tim bought on Ebay. Any Z guys are welcome to stop by and say hi.
19 x 10 rears are $530 each retail and 18 x 9 fronts are $370 each retail. You need a 20mm spacer for the fronts. TC Kline Racing has them and hes in Hilliard, Ohio. The spacer bolts on and comes with new stronger wheel studs. Why are you getting different sizes? If you are tracking the car that makes you have to buy different size tires and you cant rotate them around for more wear. A 18 x 10 rear would retail for $370 so its a considerable savings. Shipping for 4 wheels would run under $100. Take 15% off the retail price and you have your cost. The RPF1 wheels are pretty light and thats why we use them for our racing. Bob Hines 703-471-4774

i'll be up there hanging out for the day as well. Was supposed to help with a 280Z team but from what I understand they have backed out now. If you need help with whatever let me know. I'm a SCCA member if that is a regulation.

This is where I got my Enkei NT03's. The whole set of 9.5/10.5 was about $1270 including shipping.
IMHO, Enkei has one of the best values out there in a good racing wheel.

They are better by 5%. Edgeracing is between 10-12
For those that don't know racerbob4 is Rob Hines dad. Rob is also a member and a T2 350Z racer. Both great guys & good friends. Here are a couple of shots from Roebling Road this year. You can see the Enkei wheels be run as well.
Sorry, wasn't trying to poach / comment negatively by saying I ordered my wheels elsewhere - but I wanted a non-staggered setup so I can rotate front-to-rear (plus I love how my car handles this way - and I'm not RACING just doing track days so I don't have classing or rules to tell me what I can/must run). I'm hoping to be in a competitive / wheel-to-wheel situation soon enough, be it T2 or likely, BMW or PCA Club Racing (T2's probably more money than I can afford - gotta read the rule book to see if I can even run, we didn't have T2 in mind when doing my cage, honestly, looking back, I did it for "piece of mind" but should have paid more attention, I just gave them them what I was familiar with - the PCA rule book).
When I _DO_ get into this more, I'd love to take advantage of something like that generous of an offer to save other racers money, sorry if it seemed we were not much help Bob / Rob.

Thanks for the kind words Mark. Your pictures look great as always, too bad the car doesnt look as good. We were roughed up a lot at the runoffs and need a new front bumper, underpan, grill, spoiler, rear bumper, rear Enkei wheel (arrived today) and need to do some body work on the left front fender and right rear. I bet we get some TV time but its sure costly. Bob
