I was really wanting to see what the Nismo would bring to the table in BS, this is not the performance I was expecting from it.

I may go to Ft Worth, but there is not much of a B-Stock class, and that's a long way to drive for a low-turnout.

I replaced the blown shock and it made a pretty big difference! I am able to get the car right on the cones again (without hitting them), so hopefully that will translate to a better than 7th place finish

The Nismo was fine but the driver was experiencing terminal brainfade.Unfamiliar with the pro-solo format and having major traction problems on the concrete surface.I think we gave up better that a full second in the first 60' due to wheelspin, then compounded the problem trying to overdrive the car to make up the distance.I try to learn from my mistakes so I guess I'll learn a lot from my first pro-solo experience, but I won't blame it on the car.My co-driver did manage a competitve run,but with a red light start,so the potential is there.

Seriously though, I'm about six months behind in my life after last September 30th (my wife's accident).

I'm making the switch to an RX-8 from a D-stock 2.5L WRX. I've done 5 events in the car to date and still don't feel 'comfortable' behind the wheel.
