Default Pro solo at Newport AR

Is anyone planning to do the Pro-solo at Newport AR April 12th and 13th?It's just 100 miles from my house,I only saw one entry in B/S.I guess I'll find out if the Nismo is really competitive the only other entrant came in 4th at the nationals in his RX8.

If you're talking about Chis Harvey, then yes, he's really good competition. He normally has a co-driver in John Rogers, so that should make a class of 3 if/when you sign up.

No. We have a Time Trials School at Talledaga Grand Prix Raceway that weekend. I'm working to pay back the TT folks for their support of the autocross program.

Good Luck with the Nismo! Come over to Huntsville and run sometime.

April 19-20 at Milton Frank Stadium. We ran the National Tour there last year.

We have a pretty good group of B Stockers to add to the other gunslingers in SE Div.

In this case, it's a single course pro..... That means there is no mirror image course, but there is still a drag race start.

They run 3 heats of 4 runs, and you take your best run from each heat and add them together. So, it's like a regular national tour, but with 12 runs to get it right, and a drag race start. Oh, and a challenge and more money

Now....is it worth the drive out from South Florida? Now that there is good B-Stock participation I may make the drive.

how much is it to enter? I'm definately interested if you have heats first...I really wish we had heats to dial in tires and lines in regular Solo events.

Wow... what the hell is in Newport Arkansas !!???

I might be interested in going, I have never even attended an autocross event. If I show up, I could bring at least 2 others with modded Z's.

its alot of fun. I got my start with carving corners in the Z up at the dragon...but I have a healthy ego and a competitive streak so autox is more fun and safer ^_^ get out there and run maing.

Looks like we run identical cars... I will probably go and bring the other guys out. idwin probably wants to play with his new Hotchkis kit.

I have a set of RTech HFCs I plan on installing this weekend. We have a small semi private circuit behind my house I was going to get some action on too. I had 5 people planned to come run last weekend but it rained.

you could run B-stock though. my damn 4.08 gears put me in street modified 2 >.< saving moneys for R-compounds so I can actually be competitive in SM2 right now. but my local SCCA region has a street tire modified class I can win in ^_^

Anybody know how much $$$ is costs to run Pro Solo?
