I'm running SCCA B/S w/factory Nismo swaybars and considering going with an aftermarket adjustable front bar to minimize wheel spin caused by unloading the rear suspension coming of tight autocross corners. Will the different front bar be effective at loading the rear suspension or will the front wash out instead?I'm running 285/30-18f and 295/30-19r Hoosiers on Enkei racing wheels.Stock LSD really sucks, but replacing it is not an option.Which adjustable front swaybar do you guys suggest if any. Thanks Whitt
You can run 285/30/18 295/30/19 Hoosiers and Enkeis in BS?
Let me rephrase... What size on offsets in Enkeis are allowing you to run a 285/295 setup?
07 Nismo comes with 18"x9"f 30mm and 19"x10"r 30mm,Enkeis are Rfp1 18"x9"f 35mm with 11.35mm spacers and minor clearancing to clear the Brimbos. The rears are 19"x10" 22mm w mounting surface milled .065".The combo yields exactly .500"wider track both front and rear[SCCA legal].According to SCCA rules any front swaybar can be used and the rear bar can't be changed or removed.
I was under the impression that the Nismo setup was designed to work together. What happened on Sat. to make this necessary? We all have wheelspin on exit if the throttle is wide open.

FTD on saturday, but I really needed to go soft on the throttle coming off the tight corners of a small parkimg lot.

FTD, way to go! Glad I had to take some parts to Chattanooga Saturday. Oh well, you can show us how out of the hunt the Enthusiast is at the Divisional and I can find another hobby before summer.

I don't think you'll see many Nismo Z owners that are willing to prepare their cars to maximum legal specs,or are actually willing to push their cars on an autocross course plus I'm an old fart, not nearly as fast as I was 25 or 30 years ago.I'm an old kid who never grew up.
It's the Nismo 350Z and the SCCA in their confusion decided it was a stock car for 2008. Hate it but have to live with it.
Oh hell, didn't even think about the Nismo Z. That reminds me, I'm really glad it was classed into BS. Or not.
While I don't drive a Nismo Z, I do race a BS 350Z. I use a Cusco solid front sway on full stiff, it's given me the best rear footprint on corner exit.

Thanks for your reply,I'm considering either the Cusco or the Cobb adjustable bar.Is the Cusco solid bar stiffer than the 35mm hollow Nismo bar?How much rear camber are you running and are you running R compound tires.I'm trying to get the Z ready for some fast RX8s at the Newport pro solo.
No sure if the Nismo swaybar you're refering to is the same sold by Nissan Motorsports. It's basically the one the 350Evo guys were selling. It's the same one the T2 guys run. Let me know if you're interested and I can PM you the contact info.
