Is there interest in Hawk track pads for non-Brembo calipers?
Hello,
I recently spoke with John from Betamotorsports and realized that Hawk does not make any front race pads for the non-Brembo 350Z.
These would be for the 06+ cars (larger 2 piston caliper from the Q45)
In order for Hawk to produce a batch of these pads, they need a 25 pairs.
How many people would be interested in front track pads (e.g. Hawk Blue 9012, HT-10, DTC-70)?

yeah i talked with Hawk a few months ago, they did once make a set for non-brembos, but no mas my friend. however, over the weekend I got to meet Matt with BHP brakes and they will be working on a track set for non-bremo very soon. They have out the popular pads right now being a new company and thus far are getting great reviews. Even spoke with a evo driver that raced with his pads (and won) on sunday and said they were pretty damn good. Hang in there, BHP should have something before long.
Hawk has the ability to start making them tomorrow, just need to show them the $$$$.
Hawk blues for the front with HP+ in the rear would be more than enough for most beginner track events.

We just got a number from Hawk... 25 sets would make them happy.

Based on similar sized pads, the front blues will be $149 shipped.
If you want the front/rear, it will be $259 shipped.
Furthermore, for those who don't want to change rear pads, Hawk Blue front with HP+ rear will be a good combination, and will be $239 shipped.
Thanks,

The pad looks like this

Disregard the fact it says 02-06, its wrong.

I would suggest that blues are an entry level race pads for a 350Z -
And cold rotor wear is very high - higher than most race pads
Getting them to make something like HT-10's or DTC70's makes more sense.
