I've seen people spend thousands (and thousands) on tires, wheels, suspension, intake, headers, exhaust, aero, and get beat (on raw time) by a good driver in an H Stock car on street tires.
I heard that...im one of em lol...not that much money in mods but I won Street Tire Modified yesterday, I was only 3 seconds off the FTD (a SM2 car) and still had a raw time slower than an 06' Accord and a Saturn in one of the Street Touring Classes as well as a Mazda 3 in the "Pro" PAX class (H-stock car though).
