I'll post this question here (mods feel free to delete/move) as I had a Dinan CAI on my E46 3 series years ago and I was addicting to the "sucking" intake noise.

I have a 2006 RevUp Z. Single intake. I know the intake design is supposed to be stellar, but i'd like more of the whoosh. Will a K&N drop in fix that?

I don't want to change out a properly design intake system simply for noise, as I want form over function (in this case, sound), but curious as to what the track junkies are running as I need something that will stand up to summer events in the Mid-Atlantic.

The K&N drop in wont change the noise.
imo, stick with the stock.
