What class is that built for? Could be to much for PT. I think all of the additional body attachment points might cause you some problems:
15.6.2 Intent
Chassis stiffening is a side benefit of a good roll cage system, but it is not the intent of
these rules. Parts of the cage deemed by the Chief Scrutineer, to serve no practical
purpose other than chassis stiffening may be considered in violation of the intent of
these rules (Note: Some class rules allow for chassis stiffening.). The Chief Scrutineer
may order the removal of said parts, or require that the vehicle owner redesign,
reconstruct, and re-certify the roll cage if warranted. The removal or redesign of the
cage, whole or in part, to comply with these rules, does not imply that penalties will not
be issued for violating the intent of these rules.
15.6.13 Mounting Points
The roll cage shall be mounted to the floor of the car in six, seven, or eight points. The
cage shall not go through the firewall. The seventh and eighth points must attach to the
firewall or front fender wells. All cage attachment points must be mounted to plates.
Each required cage bar shall terminate on a plate with a 360 degree weld to the
mounting plate, except as specified in Section 15.6.14.B. There shall be only one (1)
mounting “point” per plate. This point is defined as where the “required tube” mounts.
All additional tubes mounted to that plate must be mounted as close to the required tube
as possible [Ref: (15.6.14.B)].
15.6.16 Tube Structure Design / Body
Tubes may touch the body in any place (not to violate CCR section #15.6.20 Inspection),
but shall not be attached anywhere except as permitted by CCR Section #15.6.11.A
Rear Braces - Exceptions. No deformation of the interior body panels is permitted,
except that the horizontal part of the sheet metal (next to the driver’s and/or passenger’s
head) between the top of the “B” pillar and the top of the “A” pillar, may be pushed in to
accommodate the roll cage. The intent of this allowed deformation is strictly to allow for
more headroom for the driver and/or passenger.

Cage is complete!!
Car is ready to go and I think I am officially broke! I got the cage painted, and SPL setup the Lifeline Zero2000 fire suppression with one nozzle for the driver and one in the engine bay. They also installed the required SFI roll bar padding, a new electrical kill switch and relocated the battery with a marine battery box. I purchased a new FIA rated Sparco Pro Adv head containment seat and Schroth 6-pt camlock harness from them and had them installed. The seat is 12lbs heavier than the SPL CF seat I had but it provides more protection and satisfies the NASA requirements for right side head protection and being FIA rated I don't need a seat back brace.
I also got a HANS Sport with sliding tethers and a new Sparco Spy-05 SA05 helmet that was on clearance from PST up at MSR-Cresson. Bought a Sparco Top5 suit along with a set of nomex and carbonx underwear. Just treated the suit last night with Molecule. I am going to roast my a$$ off in the car with 100 degree + temps and all this gear on! I should have kept my air conditioning.
We also did some maintenance on the car to get it ready for racing. I rebuilt the front Stoptechs and I had SPL install new front hubs and even longer ARP wheel studs. Stiffer 14kg Swift springs were installed and the car was lowered even more.
I want to give a huge thank you to SPL Parts for the cage fabrication all the race prep work they've done on my car. It's been a ton of work getting the car ready and I am impressed with all they work they've done. All I really did is paint the cage and rebuild the calipers-they did the rest.
I also want to thank Andy Gleasman at Torvec for sponsoring me with one of their Iso-Torque™ Differentials.

I am long overdue with a writeup on my last track event when I tested it out at TWS a few months ago. I was very pleased with the new found traction and the ability to get into corners much faster and get on the throttle earlier with the confidence the rear end will stick. I was able break into the 1:56's with this diff installed vs my previous best lap in the 1:58's.
On to the pics:
Fire suppression and electrical kill switch
Relocated battery (does not interfere with passenger seat)
only slight trimming of the dash required
Kuah took this pic while disabling the steering lock
before the Sparco Pro Adv was installed
New Momo steering wheel and Lifeline FIA quick release hub.
SPL also built a new floor and installed an OMP foot rest to match my
old OMP pedals. You can see the easy access to the fire suppression
pull lever in the old stereo location.
Fully gutted doors, custom mounted handles
They also performed a string alignment since new springs were installed and ride height lowered.
Decals for safety crew
couple exterior shots. sitting pretty low now.
I need to take more recent pics with the new Sparco Pro-ADV seat installed and the Stroud window net.
Can't wait to drive the car this weekend at TWS!

How do these shocks mount? These don't look like Z33 rear mounts.

As for preparation costs, here's a rough breakdown for the safety equipment:
Cage $2500-3000 with window net
Fire Suit $700
HANS $710
Helmet $350
Steering wheel $200
Quick release $250
fireproof underwear, socks, balaclava $500
Shoes $100
Gloves $100
Fire Extinguisher $250
Longacre Mirror $50
Disconnect Switch $100
Battery $140
Battery Box $50
Seat+brackets and slider $1000
6pt Harness $380
Tow Hook $65
$7445 just for what's listed above and I'm sure I've missed a few things. This doesn't include labor besides the cage, so adjust accordingly depending on how much you plan to do yourself. You can spend more or less on certain equipment depending on what you want. I didn't want to skimp on any of the important items though. I got the helmet 1/2 price but then went out and got a seat with head containment as I believe it offers better protection than just a right side net restraint. There are cheaper suits out there but then again there are more expensive ones also. I could have went with a bolt in cage but I think the extra money was well worth it considering the results.
Can't wait to drive it tomorrow at Texas World Speedway
