Monticello Motor Club is opening in Monticello, NY, this summer with a 22-turn road course, country club, spa, club-owned exotic cars, private helipad, etc., etc.

It only costs $125,000 to join, plus $9,500 a year, so I'm sure I'll see most of you guys there.

Unfortunately, unlike some other country club tracks (VIR, NJMP, etc.) it looks like Monticello won't be open for events held by outside organizations like TZ, NASA, SCCA, or other racing clubs. So unless you're a millionaire already, your best chance to drive it will be to suck up to a member and hope for one of the six non-member driving passes he's allowed. (Even then, you'll only be allowed there twice a year at most.)

Must be nice to be rich, huh?

You know, they will need instructors to keep these idiots from killing themselves what better way to drive extreme cars on a private track and get paid.
