my car is as stock as the day it left the showroom floor powerwise. I have an OEM vlsd, cusco zero2's, cusco upper A-arms, and my RPF1s with Kuhmo slicks. Thats it.

Do you know what width wheel?

So that essentially puts you at 17x10 +22 front, which is the new set I found for sale in the FN01R-Cs with a matching 17x10 +22 rear (which I think should be fine - I was more concerned about the front). Do you think you could fit more tire, like a 295/35, in either location?

Yes, I think a 295 will fit front and rear....I have plenty of room with the 275/40

295/35 will be a pretty tall tire, I would opt for the 295/30 and you'll have no issues.

I ran 295/30/18 up front and 315/30/18 in the rear last year. I had to flatten the fender lips but the car was sitten pretty low.

Thanks. Any pics of your fender lips? I don't think I've ever seen the fronts adjusted.

I didnt take any up close pics of the inside of the fenders. I'm running wider wheels and tires this year so I had to pull the fenders out quite a bit.

If you do roll the fender lip make sure to trim the tab that holds the fender liner or you will get an ugly bump on the fender. The flattened lip will hold the liner up just fine and it will look alot better from the outside.

Performance wise, how wide is too much?
I was thinking about 275/40/17 all around but haven't pulled the trigger yet as I am still debating with myself whether I want to do that or stagger the setup for the track. I believe the FN01RC 17X10+25 will fit ok with those tires. Do you guys think that 275 up front is ok or too much grip possibly slowing the ride down?
Thanks...

The square 275 set-up is great. Many members run this way, as well as myself for a long time now.

I just took delivery of four 17x10 FN01R-Cs and sold my 275/40/17 RT615 set-up (one set of used tires one set of new). Just need to solidify how much tire I can fit and still be able to rotate to maximize life. I'm thinking/hoping 295/30 will do the trick.

I have been running a CCW set-up of 17x9.5 with 275/40/17s all-around for some time now w/o issue. Wheel offsets, as you've read in this thread, is key. I asking about the +12 set because I'm changing set-ups for next year, so have been selling old wheels and tires in preparation for it.

I've taken delivery of THREE out of the FOUR FN01R-C 17x10 wheels (thanks for losing one, FedEx!), but they just cut a check to replace the lost one. Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to utilize this new set of wheels and a new set of Enkei RP01s in 17x9.5 +35. Two sets of wheels need to serve autox for the Z33 and track for both the Z32 and Z33, so I have some math to finish crunching. Right now I'm thinking I'll order a pair of 295/35/17s - which I'm confident will fit the rear - and test fit them on the front (FN01R-Cs). If they fit, then order two more for the rear; if they don't, then size-down to 275 fronts. The 295/35/17s are slightly taller than the 295/30/18 set-up discussed earlier, and almost 1.5" smaller than OE height for the front, so it'll be close. I was hoping for an even larger rear tire for autox, but with no 305s available, I don't have high-confidence that the 315/35/17 will fit in the rear. Any takers?

I'm talking about 17" wheels, so only the 295/40/17 or 295/35/17 tires would apply. The 295/35/17 is about as tall as a 295/30/18 anyway. . . I'm bummed that the V710 isn't offered as a 295/35/17, only 295/40/17, so will probably run the 295/35/17 A6 for autox and R6 for HPDEs.

Update:
I bought a dedicated Z33 track car versus turning our ZR into a DD/track car.

It already has TEIN coilovers with EDFC, sway bars, some go-fast goodies, etc. The previous owner said it could be lowered more, but wasn't sure of the exact drop in the current state. I plan to add SPC rear adj arms so we can dial the camber in a bit.

I was going to bump this thread today...glad to see it's still going.

I just fit 17x9 +15 on all four corners...still running 255F 275R 615's...everything fits nice and no rubbing.

Can I fit the 275 up front also? Looking to finally run a square setup. I just changed out the +35 fronts to the +15's.
