Redline Time Attack - Auto Club (California) Speedway - M-WorkZ 350Z takes 2nd!
Over the past weekend, the M-WorkZ 350Z (www.m-workz.net) finishes 2nd in Unlimited RWD and 3rd overall.
The 350Z was the only car in the top 5 that didn't compete on a brand new set of Hankook's super-sticky C91 tire every session, let alone at all!
Finishing with a time of 1:42.3, the M-WorkZ 350Z was only .7 seconds off of the C-West S2000 who won Unlimited RWD and finished 2nd overall to the GST Impreza.

Nice job Billy and M-Workz! That is a fast time for sure.
Boozt, I think they did run the stickies on the last session when they got the 1:42. That was the first and only time they ran them though is I think what he is saying. The other cars ran them all day.

I run the BFG R1's for track days...they work well. I run the Hoosier A6 for AutoX...they work flawless! Toyo T1R's for the street...No complaints and last pretty long for aggressive driving.
We currently run Hoosier R6 for Unlimited Class (295/315), but after this past weekend seeing the times that other teams got out of the Hankooks vs. their other Unlimited tires I am starting to get curious.

If you make the switch...give a full report. It's nice to hear other comparisons. When I looked into the Hankook's...they didn't have the sizes I wanted. I run 265's front with 285 rears R1's on 8.5 and 9.5 forged NISMO's

I'm curious as to why you are not running the A6?

Have Steve set up your Z for time attack, track days, or better ride on the street!

Congratulations also to the other 350Z podium finishers:
Double Down team (3rd place Unlimited RWD, 2nd place Modified RWD) of Relentless Autosports, Scott Bush and Mike Bonnani
Verena Mei for winning the Drift class
SPL is proud to be the suspension multilink provider for all 3 cars. Some day we hope to be able to compete in person again
