Rear end questions
Those who are big into autox and roadracing, what LSD do you guys recommend and have the best luck with. I do autox now and would like to get into some roadracing next year. Also, would changing the gears to a 4.09 be a good idea for roadracing and autox. Over the winter I would like to build the rear end up, just want to start doing some research now. Thanks for any info.

IF you stay NA and use this car a lot as your DD, then you might consider a torsion sensing ("Torsen") type unit like the Quaife lsd. Very smooth and civilized, but the folks I know that have run hard on a track with them have had them break.
If you run FI, and drive aggressively, then a mechanical clutch type such as Cusco, Nismo, Kaaz, etc. would be worth your time for investigation. They will chatter, chirp and jerk in parking lots and sharp, slow speed turns from stop signs....but on the track they are smooth music.

I'm running a Cusco RS LSD and its awesome for autox...never get any inside wheel spin, really does a great job of putting the power down.

If it's your DD or if you drive it a significant amount, 4.08 gears might be a bad choice.
Keep in mind that on a tight autox course that reaches speeds anywhere from 5 to 40+, you're probably going to be shifting a bit more.
Just my 2 cents.
