One of the local sports car clubs had an auto-x at moroso. Moroso has been closed due to reconstruction for a while, so my buddies and I jumped on the chance to do an auto-x on the kart track. Our "crew" included a 300zx TT, 06 DB enthusiast, and my redline nismo....

And the best shot if I don't say so myself haha

I ran the quickest but I definitely could have pushed it harder. My friend with the z32 said the HICAS that car has screwed him up when transitioning left to right (his best run was a little less than 2 seconds slower than me), and the 06 enthusiast was also about 2 seconds behind me but had pretty worn out re040's all around. He also got the car about a month ago and it is his first stick. All in all it was a fun time and were def. going to do it again.

Thanks Sharif, im glad they have a nice karting program there haha. It is the perfect course though because instead of getting screwed up trying to follow cones you just follow the line of the track.

A friend of my friend with the z32 told us about it. Its the equipe rapide sports car club ( erscc. com i believe). You can go to driverregistration. com and search through the events and all of the events in our area will show up. I only found out about this particular event on the last day of registration. Someone mentioned possibly having another auto-x in november but don't quote me on it.
Figures, the one day I skip the Moroso event to go to Sebring, a bunch of 350's show up! Glad you liked the event, ER does a good job trying to make the kart track interesting. Some of those turns are a bit slow, but you get a lot of runs.
They either run there at Moroso, at Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, or at the Homestead Speedway kart track. The website will have all the latest info, look forward to seeing more Z's there!

So you were the one with the Nismo, very sharp ride!!!
I brought a black 2003 350z track to the autocross, I didnt get to see you run, but I did see your buddy in the 300zx TT, I've owned one of those cars before and man they are incredibly tough cars to autocross (even prepared) compared to a 350Z.

The kart track looks wider than I originally thought, did you stay in 2nd gear the whole time? I'd love to go with you guys next time, post up if you sign up for the next one.
