I have a track day on January 3rd. For some reason CHIN was the only group to get full course track days in December and January. Feb/March is testing and racing. April we are in full swing again.

Off season plans include seeing what the SCCA T2 rules are for 2009. Not that the rules will ever favor the Z, I'd just like to have an upgraded butter knife before the next swordfight...
carbotech pads, motul fluid, some new OEM rotors, probably a set of RPF1's to get rid of these 30 pound wheels im running right now with my R-compounds. if I have some money leftover I may give fatcat motorsports a call for some revalved Bilstein's with race springs and adjustable front camber arms.

Trying to decide to put a cage in my pretty nice 22k miles 06 Z GT or buy a older Z and strip it out and move my good parts from the "good" street & track car to the "track car"....Once you install the roll-bar, you can't really go back to street-stock
Just like you guys...I have been around and around in my mind on a bolt-in 4 point bar verses a real weld-in 4 or 6 or 8 point cage....saftey verses money verses the reality of life.
OR
Buy a built track/race car (SM or Spec Focus/Spec3 or used TTB/PTB 350z)
OR
Buy a nice aluminum trailer, run the same car with no new mods, just maintenance stuff
OR ????

Unless something changes my mind tonight, I will order the Cobra Susuka GT seats. Lots of seat choices, but I have sat in these, and they seem to fit me and the car. Also, I think they are a quality product.
I am doing a custom bar from Chris Schimmel. I have seen a custom bar he did for a 350 and it is much more driver and passenger friendly than the production bars.
It is kind of hard to take the nice leather, heated seats out and remove the trim for the roll bar in an 07, but it really needs to be done.
Take care....
