Default Sway settings & Chasis braces

Just got a set of hotchkis sways and wondering what hole setting (stiffness F&R) others have found to like in autox. Was also wondering if anyone has installed GT-spec F&R tie braces, ladder brace, or fender braces and noticed a difference. Sorry if these questions are repeated, I just wanted to ask those who've tested and researched, rather than people just repping what they bought. Thanks in advance!

I would start with both set in the center hole and then adjust as needed to control understeer or oversteer. If you have understeer you need to tighten the rear or loosen the front, with oversteer tighted the front or loosen the rear. As far as the braces they will help but you need to decide what class you are going to auto-x in as they are not legal in stock or street prepared.

There's not one setting that works everywhere, that's why you bought adjustable anti-roll bars. You should be prepared to adjust the bars at each event and you don't have to adjust the bar symetrically. You can have one side of the bar on the middle hole and the other side on the first (or last) hole to get a finer range of adjustment.

Default Classing

^True, I just recently got into autox and just wanted some input. I just decided today I want to run a few more times before i install the sways, from what u guys have said I need to learn my car a bit more to better understand tuning the sways. I only got to run novice class once and with my mods I think i am in BSP, which I am not prepared for that comp. Is SM2 a class we can run, I'm not very familiar with it all, and won't know till the next club premeeting. If any can clarify SM2 class that would be awesome.
Tokico Hp/Tein s-tech
Berk Ceramic HFC
Motordyne 5/16
Nismo CAI/ Headers/ Y-pipe/ Catback
UR Pulleys
ACT street light/ Exedy stage 1 organic clutch
and I am on 17x8 255/40 275/40 RT-615 ( took off my street wheels to save the 19" tires).
Thanks in advance!

Your setup is currently good for BSP, you can run SM2 but you should be prepared to spend more money on mods to be competive. Here's a link to SCCA rules. Some local clubs have different rules and classes.
