Default rEvolution Performance sponsored by Asphalt Ventures at VIR South (March 21-22)

This is a two-day, weekend event comprised of an advanced driver clinic, advanced open lapping, and now Novice HPDE.

Last October, I partnered with Chuck Hawks to host the first rEvolution Performance Driver's Clinic in conjunction with an Asphalt Ventures lapping day at Carolina Motorsports Park. The clinic was an overwhelming success. Feedback indicated the only improvement would be to have MORE of the clinic. So this year, we're making it two days worth, and on a weekend to make it more available.

WHEN:
  • March 21, March 22 (Sat/Sun)
WHERE:
  • Virginia Int'l Raceway, South Course (1.6 mile)
WHAT:
  • 2-day rEvolution Performance Driver Enhancement clinic hosted by Chuck Hawks
  • Saturday and/OR Sunday ... Advanced/Intermediate lapping
  • 2-day Novice HPDE <-- NEW
HOW MUCH?!
  • RDAP Clinic: $325 (weekend)
  • Saturday OR Sunday Only lapping: $225
  • Saturday AND Sunday lapping: $375
  • 2-Day Novice HPDE: $349
THE DETAILS
There are only 25 seats available for this Driver Advancement Program. Chuck Hawks, professional coach, will lead the clinic both in classroom, and on the track. Here are some of the things you can look forward to:
  • Intensive classroom instruction
  • Exercises to improve basic but extremely important motor skills
  • Communication skills to improve through learning from and sharing with others
  • Techniques to get and stay "In the Zone"
  • Exercises that improve Traction/Grip sensing ability
  • On-track exercises you don't see in normal DE schools (Including exercises to improve comfort in traffic and in-turn passing)
  • Awareness enhancement
  • Go faster naturally and understand why
  • Chuck Hawk's clear, organized, professional instruction at a fraction of what he charges the pros!
Novice HPDE drivers will get FOUR 30-minute track sessions each day. An in-car instructor will be provided as well as classroom instruction.

Lappers (30 max each day) ... you'll have at least four hours in which to drive to your heart's content EITHER or BOTH days! If you've ever wanted more time to perfect your line (or try new lines) around Oak Tree and South Bend, here's your chance! Plus, with South Course you get the Spiral which is the closest thing we'll get to Laguna Seca's corkscrew on the east coast.

I will be at stacy's event's, all of them. TAC-M, Stacy is right, VIR is worth the trip. Full course, is what everyone says it is - great! And, I love North Course as well. This will be my first time on South course.

Marty and TAC-M, 8 of us are going to Roebling road the first or second weekend of May with Darkside. You should join us.

For everyone, I attended the Chuck Hawks clinic last year. I expected to go there and sit on my butt a lot and listen to him talk. I sat a lot, but most of it was behind the wheel. I got more seat time in the clinic than any DE I have ran, and his on course exercises were great. I am doing his clinic again....

But ... I wonder if the new USF1 team will be pumping any money into High Rock so they have somewhere to practice.

Sorry, got off topic. rEvolution Clinic is awesome. I participated in the clinic last October and am very much looking forward to getting more of Chuck's excellent instruction this time.
