I highly recommend this track and the organizers. I attended the last event and I am seriously looking at attending this one. To view pictures of the Z's from the last event, search for "Gingerman" within the Racing forum. Or, click the search button on my post.

I have officially registered for this event and plan on attending. I really hope that there will be some other Z owners there. Last time we had a total of 3 and it was a blast. If you do attend, stay at the Hampton Inn in South Haven, Michigan. It is nice, not too expensive, and right down the road from the track. There is also food, gas, and a do-it-yourself car wash (wand type) near by.

Thank you for your support. It was a beautiful sight to see 3 z's at our last event. Hopefully more of you sign up before the event fills up!

I am partial to the GuestHouse Inn, but all of the hotels are about the same. They are relatively new, and are clean.

Brian.

I was considering Waterford, but I did not hear enough about it in time. I do want to see other tracks, but considering the time of the year, I thought I would go with a safe bet that I am familiar with.

AWESOME!!! I am so excited that there is going to be 3 Z's again. When you get to the track, go to the top of the little hill and stage near the little huts for other cars. It is flat and the best place for jacking. If you go around by the pit area, it is not all that flat.

By and by, the girl is coming with me and I have received clearance to have her ride shotgun. However, she needs a loaner helmet to do so. If either of you wear a medium helmet and are not in the intermediate class, I would love it if you would be willing to loaner her your helmet while we are on track. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you there.

Peptide
I have a brand new Bell M2 racer medium that I was going to return to the dealer. If you want to purchase it for what I paid I'll try to squeeze it in the car. The bill is at work but I think it was about $285.00.

Redfoot, thanks for the offer. However, the G/F is not interested in racing as a hobby. She just wants to ride along once or twice. Hence, she would not be willing to spend the money and I cannot afford it for her. Again, thanks for your offer.

As a side note to everyone attending, I will have most of the necessary tools with me, so feel free to skimp on some things if you don't have room. Here is a incomplete list of what I am bringing:

Floor jack
3/8, 1/2 socket wrench
1/2 breaker bar
1/2 torque wrench
long neck sockets (10mm-21mm) and wrench extentions
21mm smoothe bore socket for lug nuts.
3/8-1/4 and 1/2-3/8 socket adaptor
Bench wrenches
Full complement of screw drivers
Hammer
Full complement of pliers (channel lock, needle nose, bull nose, etc)

Oh, and when SpeedTrialUSA suggests you bring a lot of water, bring A LOT! You would be surprised how dehydrated you will get.

Peptid,

I'll be bringing some tools too. I'll likely need to borrow your torque wrench (mine is garbage and my "calibrated arm" is sore) and possibly the floor jack.

I'm staying at the Hampton Inn tonight. Should be getting there about 5:00. Got my Hawk pads today; I'm going to be doing the swap in the parking lot tonight so I can bed them in before tomorrow.

See you all there!
