2009 Solo Nationals thread
Glenn, have/need a co-driver? Pm me...
My car is now prepped almost like yours: SA Konis (i know you have DA), front sway, 285/30 V710s on track wheels, so it should feel like home!

I'll be there in my BS RX-8 along with my co-driver Shawn and a BSL co-driver as well.
Looks like BryanH is the man to beat this season with his two solid wins over Isley at the San Diego NT and El Toro Pro. He seems to be fast no matter what he's driving (RX-8 or MR-2 TT). My buddy Ruggles has also made huge strides this season and I look forward to seeing him up there in the mix. Can't forget the 4-time champ Isley, and guys like Tovsen, Harvey, Carter, Eric Jones, etc. Nationals will be a blast this year!
Hope you and the Cavanaugh's won't be the only 350Z's Glenn. Would be nice to see a larger Z contingent out there.

I will be there but most likely not in my 350Z. Ill be in my 240Z in EM assuming no mechanical issues. I have no chance of a trophy with all the tuning of the car and driver I need but I will be there anyhow for the fun.

I'd really like to see more out there, but I'm afraid it won't happen this year -- the RX-8s are considered to be "the better car" (although I'm hoping to prove that they're not -- they've just attracted the better drivers with $$$).

Probably not this year unless for some reason I pull a rookie season like GJ Dixon and almost win every national event I go to.....which we know isn't going to happen. I'm trying to finish my degree and Nationals falls right in the middle of school for me. Right now its a no, but that can change.
Like I said, I'd have to do really well at tour, DC and Toledo for me to even think about heading out there.
Finger Lakes and DC man! Can't wait. Oh I found out, Keith does NOT have the R3 or RS3 or whatever it is package. He's on 18s but 255s all around

That it is!
Don't worry, I won't cone away a .4 second win this time. But that was crazy how I snuck in there on my last run. And all I was trying to do was keep it clean.
Having talked to GJ, and John, I shouldn't play conservative. Ya having the win is nice, but I need to learn the car more, take chances etc. If I cone a run oh well, looking for raw times now

The 350Z Nismo definitely appears to be a competitive option for BS. Toledo will be your best test yet...as Harvey, Rogers and Carter will be in attendance along with other solid drivers like Tharpe, Ruggles and Fossum.

Bigger course area, course designers are NOT small (or powerless) car drivers, and grip levels should be significantly better than the sandpile that was the HPT paddock.
Bryan H should be the fastest RX-8, but I think that an RX-8 won't be enough this year...
