They were pushing so hard the entire race and I think the engines couldn't handle the abuse. It's pretty sad because they were really giving Audi a run for the money.

Man what a great race but I'm pretty pissed that Corvette didn't place thanks to Peugeot.

 

Yeah the Corvettes engine went kaput, the Risi Ferrari gear box went kaput, Peugeot 908 engine went kaput and the Porsche GT3RSR became the GT2 winner.

I like the Corvette vs. Risi Ferrari battle in Le Mans, great racing.

 

I was hoping to see the Aston's finish in LMP1 and the Jag at least start the race .

How much of the race did you end up watching? I beat my record last year and was able to watch a little more then 13 hours by fast forwarding through commercials and some of the slower stuff.

 

Not that much this year because of the World Cup. Probably 6 hours of watching off and on. I remember when SpeedChannel showed the whole race for 24hrs, that was before Fox bought them.

I love the sound of the Astons! Yeah it would have been good to see the Jag run a little longer.

 

It seemed like there was so much drama this year that t kept my attention.
