Which car? I still find it difficult to acknowledge the car in front but not follow their lines...newb mistake. Need more seat time!
Then rain was a great learning tool, teaches you to rely on your lines and smoothness rather than just sticky tires and brakes...

I was referring to the white car BMW? in the beginning of the video.
That white car is a squirrel. Don't want to follow to close in the rain with that guy. He will collect you if he spins.
Did the silver hatchback signal early enough he was getting off track...geez.
Love watching Porsche novice drivers especially in the rain...lol
You did a good job seeing the dry line form.

Thanks guys, value the input, I was running NT05's, love those tires. I had NT01's but wasn't about to use them in the rain for my first time there...
You didn't see alot of oversteer because I left VDC on, I normally don't have it on because I find it intrusive more than anything but at times the rain was really heavy, those 15 minutes you're seeing is from about an hour of taping. 2 different run groups.
Thanks again for looking and for any advice...

Way to go to hang in there in the rain. You made a good tire choice and were at a great track. My suggestion would be to give yourself much more space between yourself and the traffic. You never know what they're going to do! MCO runs a really good event!
Here are my novice to the track comments from last year in my low power track car. I won't be getting there this year. But for anyone from the states, this track is worth the trip.
This has the awesome straights that the power guys need and love plus some very technical and challenging sections that push your car's handling. I had some car overheating issues on the second day and there were some organizing challenges the first day - but aside from that and it being six hours away from where I live, this was awesome.
Turn 1 - flat out corner with my car in 4th gear
Turn 2 - 2nd gear
Turn 3 - blind, 3rd gear flat out
Turn 4 - flat out
Turn 5 - hard braking, touch left side at Sir John A. then touch right at 5, swing wide into 6
Turn 6 - back on the gas; still deciding between 2nd or 3rd
Turn 7 - third flat out
Turn 8 - Temptation - great corner than invites you to go fast BUT does it ever tighten up. I was doing a two apex here - hard braking coming in as I was usually at the redline in 3rd. First apex probably just under the P in tempation, then straight to the right side of track (about where the half track enters) then brake and into second and really hard left.
Come in fast and wrong then you'll need to clean your shorts!
Turn 9 - WOT through a and b
Turn 10 - fast corner
Turn 11 - stay really wide here, third though it
Turn 12 - a - hard brake and grab 2nd; b - into 3rd and WOT
Turn 13 - WOT and move to right for next corner
Turn 14 - more brakes and grab 2nd
Turn 15 - WOT and third
Turn 16 - WOT
Turn 17 - some brakes and still deciding about 3rd or 2nd
Turn 18 - if you've come into 17 right then this and 19 are a sweet corner, decreasing radius. Grab second and it's smooth. Come in wrong and it's choppy.
Turn 19 - get into 3rd before 20
Turn 20 - WOT for the straight

Excellent driving in the wet and your car is a monster! You did a great job of not breach the limit... it is so easy to be greedy and ask for too much grip in the rain and have it bite you in the ***. I ran time attack at Mosport today with 1 wet session and I ended up sliding off the track, yikes!
That track looks amazing to drive and just plain beautiful, it would be extremely fast in the dry I would imagine!

Good opportunity for those that want to check out this world class track, I'm still un-sure if I'm going to be at this event.
