Hey Scott,
I was looking at the pan and noticed the area where the dip stick used to go through. I have a modified pan similar to your first version and thought that the dip stick hole was just a tube for the dipstick until the oil started to run out so I had to make a spot for the oil to return to the pan and did not make it dump in low enough in the pan and it would pour onto the crank on hard left turns and causing pressure to build up.

To answer the above questions.

The price of the pan, pump, and accs. as we are running is aprox. $4500.00. The additional parts and plumbing in the car is between $2500.00 and $6500.00 depending on the exact choices.

The dip stick tube is also a head drain. This system is designed to over scavenge and control windage so the oil flowing out of the drains will join the flow created by the low pressure at the scavenge slots. The bottom end will be operating at an aprox. 15” of vacuum.
