My jealousy over constant seat time in a race prepped GTR and 370Z keeps me from applauding your efforts...

Great job Sharif. I'll look forward to seein the 370 if you make it out to the west coast redline events again this year.

Enjoying the thread here. Sharif, can you offer any comparisons between race-prepped NA 350Z vs. the 370Z? Your build goes far beyond what we're allowed in SCCA T2 specs, but might help my Nissan Sport teammate in his quest to build a T2 Z34.

The 370Z chassis feels incredibly light, stiff, and very responsive. Within a couple of corners, you quickly realize that the 370Z is a far better base platform for a racecar then the 350Z...and the 350Z is no slouche either!
I like what Nissan did with the car. It feels much lighter and more nible than the 350Z, and all of your actions inside the the car translate more immediately into results on the track. And lemme tell you about the sychro rev match.

It's a keeper. I don't care how great you are at heal-toe....once you try the sychro rev match you will never go back. Downshifts while threshold braking are effortless. Overall, the car is just plain fun, and easy to drive fast and gives the driver a lot of confidence. Not sure how much of this would translate over to a T2 class 370z but it sure is encouraging.
