Default TracksUnlimited Nashville track day 7/10 TONS of track time only $195!

Attention trackheads and adrenaline junkies: we may have an opportunity to hold a track day / play day at Nashville Speedway's road course on Saturday July 10th. It would feature Tracks Unlimited's usual plethora of track time overdose and the entry fee would be a low $195. We need to gauge interest pretty quickly though to decide go / no go. Would you be interested in coming out for a day of the most fun you can have with your clothes on (mostly)?

Please go to http://www.tracksunlimited.net/forum...php?f=31&t=283 and let us know your interest. Thanks!

I haven't been to one of these (yet...) but I can say from my experience at the Nashville Chumpcar race that was rained out during the flood of three centuries (literally) that the guys at Tracks Unlimited are super nice guys and good racers. They volunteered their track date to let Chumpcar come back and finish the race, which we did, and which was great.

If you have the chance to do this, I recommend it, if only for the great time you're sure to have.

Thanks Guitarist. Sorry for the short notice, this opportunity came about kinda last-minute. We are working on a schedule right now.

As a bonus, we have added an optional Track Attack competition session at the end of the day, with cash payouts! Take a look here: http://www.tracksunlimited.net/forum...php?f=31&t=289

Hope some of you guys can make it out to this one!

Damn IT! I wish I would of known! Im new to all this and havent been to any track event or an auto x in years. Just got my Nismo beginning of the month, I would of loved to come out just to check this stuff out at the least. Keep in touch if this comes up again. Thank you

EDIT:

After a few minutes searching I found that there is going to be a Sports Car Club AutoX at the speedway this (Sunday7/25) at the speedway. It says no novices and Im cool with that but Id love to come out and watch and see what its about. Anyone from the forum going? Maybe meet up n eat or something after the event if its not to late (I HATE having to work every sunday).

PM me or let me know. Very Interested.

You might also be interested to know that the 2010 National Z Convention is being HOSTED in Nashville NEXT week July 28th-August 1st... and that there is a Z-only track day at the speedway on Sunday August 1st.

Registration is officially closed for the convention, so I'm not sure if you can still get in on the track day, but registration is still open for the two touring lites groups that we're running (paced sessions).

Let me know if you'd be interested in that event

Yes very much so. PM'd you. Also noticed it says on the z con website that the registration will reopen at the hotel on aug 28th? I'm hoping that's a typo. How much are the events/registration? Everything sounds good minus the "get to see Nashville part" being from here I see it enough at work but I'm very interested.

Basically, they've closed "pre" registration... problem is, the track day requires pre-registration (except the touring lites group).

I'm running Sunday but not with the 350Z. I'm taking the 07 Blue MX-5. Look me up, I'm running STR with my son. We are driving up from Alabama early. Autocrossing the NSS road course is fun. This is the second time this year for the Tennessee Region SCCA.

ok I'll walk up and introduce myself if I can. I talked to stacy a bit and it seems like auto X may be more my style for now. Id be crying like a baby if someone else kicked up debris and it hurt the Z. I'll prob bring my camera (not the greatest but I love it) and see if I can get some pix. If I can get close enough I'll get some good pix, and an addiction to a new hobby. Lookin forward to it.

BTW name is Josh.

What time do you think I should show up?

I think they plan to get started around 9:30 so about 9:00 so you can get acquainted with the club.
