Hey guys,
Just wanted to share the news and coverage of the most recent NASA race at Road Atlanta. It was a hot weekend and the cars were fast out there! Sharif managed to pull off a 1:29 in the GT-R with old race tires, and track temps recorded at 115 degrees He got 2 first place finishes in TTU. Sharif even had some time out in the Forged Performance GT3 to play around in HPDE.
What a weekend! Thank you everybody who came out and showed us support!
See you at Sebring Red Line Time Attack this weekend!

Ditto on the congrats; it was good to see and talk to you again. See you in couple of weeks. Nick

what happen to that nismo
Edit: The white 370Z is a full race 370z twin turbo. Only the front bumper is Nismo, for better airflow to the cooler. All of the vents you see are functional and necessary to keep things cool. But yeah, it looks like a Pontiac GXP.

They absolutely work. But they are banned by most sanctioning bodies, or are very limited in how they can be implemented.
In Time Attack, there are very rule rules and restrictions, so he's using them. Hats off to him for thinking outside the box!

The first one (all black with white accents) is FWD, puts down 900whp and is the fastest FWD car in Time Attack right now. It has set a lap record on every track it has touched. Constantly in the top 5 fastest cars of the whole field when they compete.
The New one, which is the white one with the black accents (lower front wing) is their latest tC. It has been converted back to AWD (I say back because the tC's chassis originally came in an AWD configuration). Road Atlanta was it's first shakedown passes. It's like 1100hp (crank), AWD and like 2600lbs with Rado in it. Will be cool when they get that dialed in to see what it runs.
Both run the factory 2az-fe found in the production tC. Theirs are stroked out though from 2.4L to the 2.7L.
PS....congrats on the win Sharif. I'm going down to Savanna to run at Robeling Road this weekend, perhaps I might make a detour to check out Forge Performance while down there.

40ish PSI, something like that. The FWD dynoed 899whp and like 800wtq or something like that during the Modified Tuner shootout (last months Modified Mag issue). But talking with Rob (crew chief), they have made more than that before. The AWD tC just got finished up like a week ago.
No mean to thread jack, just shedding a little light, as the cars are WELL known, but seems people still don't "know" of them. I Road/Time Attack my tC so I kinda make sure I'm up to date on PTuning and World Racing when they hit the track.
