I'm back In a Z-car race car again
What is on your headlinghts? I need that look to complete my track car.

I also think it's time to ditch that Tein with EDFC suspension. It came on my track car when I bought it. When I changed to the TC Kline DAs, the difference was obvious. The Tein, in my opinion, is for street guys that want 1056 way adjustability. I could barely tell a difference at the extremes.

results from the initial shake-down runs.
* As warned by the PO, the rear end would "step out' very badly in the right hand corners ONLY !!! (almost all the corners @ Roebling) ...it was pretty scary at 1st...I thought I had low tire pressure in the left rear tire, but the tire was fine. So I increased the shock setting until the problem was at least controllable...but then the shocks where too firm and "bounced" thru the bumpy corners. So I think one of the rear shocks is defective....but I didn't swap them or do anything at the track...could be a suspension bushing problem...or broken sway bar...maybe a Diff issue...but i don't think so.

I have this exact same issue. I thought it was a sub-frame bushing or a differential bushing. I had both of these replaced, but the car still steps out on me sometimes. It's not as bad with the new bushes, but on slick off camber pavement it can be scary. It takes some quick opposite lock to reign it in.
I'm on stock springs and shocks with 63k on the odometer. Let me know if you track down the issue or if you have any suggestions.

Had a very good weekend overall. I did kinda figure out the car some. The Hoosier R6 tires are SO different than RA1s. So I had to change my driving style to be much smoother on the throttle, and all was well, I was approx 2.5 seconds slower that the previous owner. Not bad, and I think I can find at ...least one second...driving better, and 1 second with new tires.
The "Cluster" happened on T1 on Lap 1...but I had no real damage...what I did get "will buff out"

And I figured out what was wrong with the handling of the car:
THE
DRIVER
SUX
Seriously, the driver was the problem...I just didn't know how to handle a higher HP car, with a lightweight flywheel, with Carbonetics diffs, and 4.10 gears, and R6 tires...
So i will working be very hard to improve the driver...this nothing like my old almost stock Z or my other 153HP BMW racer

So was it he went in too hot into the corner, or nobody gave him room? I'm guessing the first but I'm not sure what the "rules" are for giving up the inside. Like you have to at least be in front of the outside car right?
your front wheel has to be even with the Driver's door to have the right to be there.
And a short low-lites/high-lites Vid from the same race
BTW: about 1/2 way thru the race, I started having intermittent rear brake lockup

the official party line:
25.4.3 Right to the Line
The driver in front has the right to choose any line, so long as not to be considered blocking. The driver attempting to make a pass shall have the right to the line when their front wheel is next to the driver.
....but at the same time the person being passed only needs to leave you 3/4's a car width unless there is a hard surface (wall) off track. so you can make that pass any where you want but keep in mind the driver in front has the right to the line he wants.
This section really made me laugh when studying for Comp License school:

Yep, It takes a "cluster" to get some action......but then again, any driver can complain at anytime they wish
Note: when had 8 people in line to fill out "body contact forms"

So true, I have the 4.08 with TT and R6's with Cusco 1.5 LSD. When they go off it is truly a workout of throttle control, great on highspeed courses but tricky on the tight stuff...
