Default thinking of 370z Nismo seats

I'm posting here because I know I can get some good advice. I understand that this is the AutoX section not the drift... nor the 370z section. I figured this section is more appropriate since I use my Z mainly for the track

I'm finally getting to the position where I can upgrade my seats. I mainly drift my Z with minimal autoX'ing a year. I'm seriously looking into the 370z nismo seats because that etched 'NISMO' emblem looks sexy. I'm concerned as to whether or not they'll hold me place. Looking at pix online, it seems like they're semi-bucket but i dunno..

I'll try to test drive a NISMO 370 tomorrow but I'm curious to see what you guys think.

my info:
03 track, boost'd, 80% track/20% daily.

I think they're the same as the 350z cloth seats, aside from some red coloring in the middle and the Nismo logo. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. They do look good though.

I would pick something much better. Buddy club etc etc , something that will actually hold you in.

If it is mostly a "track" car, have you thought about a fixed back seat (Sparco, OMP, etc)? Not the most comfortable but they are livable and hold you in like no other. Don't have to go to extreme.

If not a fixed back seat, there are plenty of options out there for cool seats that can keep you in place (Recaro, Sparco, Cobra, etc). These would probably be cheaper or same price as 370z seats but better at holding you in place. Can always have them custom stiched if you want something unique.

^^^
Shut up ADMAN! >:-(

I'm joking but seriously I just test drove a Nismo 370z yesterday. Impressive handling! The seats were a big disappointment. They're basically the same thing as my track seats except that the driver can adjust the bottom butt support with a wheel on the side.
