Northern Virginia - best place to get a custom rollbar done?
I have an old quote from Piper Motorsport here in VA to do one for around $1,800.
Any other recommendations? Ideally it would be some place that could put in the seats and 6 point harnesses (yet to buy those).

Wow. that much just for the roll bar? I'll see what I can find out - but it probably won't be in your area. This has been on my mind for a while too.. it's a big expense - rollbar, seats, harnesses...
One of the best places I have found on the east coast is Competition Cages by Chris Schimmel. He does quality work at a very reasonable price. You can even tell him I sent you and he may work with you even more (or charge you more depending on how much he likes or dislikes me after a race weekend).

Thanks guys. I'll give the shop in NC a call. That's not too bad. Maybe drive down, fly back, fly down, drive back or something.
Just need the back half since the car will still be driven on the street and I'm under the assumption that full cage without a helmet is a bad idea.
I'm also looking for custom so it will have the tightest fit possible.

I got a quote from Robinson Racing in GA for a half cage AKA roll bar + back AKA roll bar (whatever you want to call it) for $1200. That price was for the custom cage install with paint (did not include stripping the interior pieces, seats, etc).
