I was able to finally get back into competing in NASA Time Trials (TTC), there are a few Zs running TTC here in Florida so the competition is really fun. I'm still a couple of seconds off the front runners (a Z and a turbo miata) but getting closer bit by bit.

Perfect weather for a personal best lap time at Homestead Miami Speedway........was too busy timing myself and forgot to shift on the front straight, hit rev limiter....doh!
Still 2 seconds of the front runners, have some work to do.

My OS Giken Superlock LSD was delivered this weekend from Z1Auto. Z1Auto (Adam/Kwame) were very helpful and their price was by far the best I could find. My current VLSD has quite a bit of mileage on it (my car has even more 102K) so I'm hoping this upgrade will be noticeable and maybe even give me a few tenths.

Nice vid! I always found it interesting going from the oval track to the road course inside.

 

Looks like you need to get a tinted shield for your helmet. I couldnt stand trying to drive around with a visor in front of my face. Nice laps!

 

Its definitely fun, specially T10 after the back straight, its actually a pretty scary section depending on how fast/ballsy you're feeling. I think thats one of the best places to make up time vs other drivers. But that's coming from someone who's never driven on a track w/ real elevation changes...I image Road Atlanta is an amazing track for that reason.
