Well, I wrote my letter to have it moved from BSP (AWD turbo Evo/STI) to ESP (RWD sports and pony cars).

I guess the **** liked the proposal enough to send it out for member comment, so have at it!

I did. I was just saying that I commented on the forums in addition. I have my fingers crossed that this will happen.

 

Cool. Its going to be tough fight. The pony car guys have had it easy for years and were able to boot the Evos and STis out of ESP a few years back.

 

^That said the non-sti wrx's still reside within ESP. I'd really enjoy the move because we have no BSP presence in D.C. region, but there is always a strong ESP turnout. It is just an added plus that I think the Z would really be competitive beyond the regional level.

Plus, this would give reason for the out classed C-stock 350z's to keep racing and move up.

If this happens I will drop all my non-SP mods in a heartbeat.

 

Apparently Strano has been setting his FS winning 5.0 into an ESP car for next year.....so much for winning any in my region.....sigh.

 

I withdraw my previous statement. I forgot those things have 876367 horsepower now

 

If I can stay within ~2 seconds on a 50-60 second course of strano maybe someone more talented and bit better prepped would have something for him in a 350z.

 

Apparently the email system is no longer, you have to go to sebscca.com to submit your letter. I did so and hope this gets seriously considered. We'll see. Everyone keep sending those requests, don't just say oh someone will do it. Get on it. Here in the ATL region we might have 150 cars out one weekend, but with only 2 or 3 cars in BSP. Would be an interesting move for the Z.

 

We had 240 cars at the last SCCA event here and there were 2 BSP cars. One FSP civic dropped down to make it 3 because they had about 20394820394823 drivers.

Not that I'm planning on personally drinking the SP kool-aid at this point, but it was one of those things that I was thinking about one night.

However, I might consider it after I retire the Z from DD (in another few years).

 

This seems like an interesting move for the 350Z. It this goes through, I might consider ESP
