Default Rare JDM Autocross Challenge

We’re looking to get a few more G’s and Z’s out to the track, and what better way than to have a little challenge and giveaway some prizes! We’ll be releasing more info soon, but if you want to come out sign up soon because the autocross events fill up quick. This isn't officially part of the Speed Ventures event, but I did get permission from them to have the challenge.

Sign up with Speed Ventures here, then email us at events@rarejdm.com to let us know you’re coming! Hope to see some of you out there

*Just a quick update: Speed Ventures said they would add a "Rare JDM Autocross Challenge" class/group in the sign up area, so if be sure to select that when you sign up.

Yeah, NT05's... I run in the Street RWD class. Just looking to get a few more cars out to the event and have a good time, nothing too serious. We'll have a couple of good prizes though for the top times.

What are the preliminary thoughts towards prizes? There a few BSP Z's in Cali......competent driver in one with A6's is going to be quite fast compared to a street tire car.

I applaud your efforts to get people out there though.

We're giving away the prizes to the top 3 times, whether they beat our car or not. Like I said, just looking to have a little fun and get some more cars out to the event.

So no 370Z's? If I was closer to SO Cal I'd go for this. How about a Nor Cal event that allows 370Z's?

Looks like fun, wish I could make it that weekend. Fontana is a hike for me though.

Ha! I signed up for this Speed Ventures event last week and didn’t know about this special JDM event. I’ll be there with my Z but note this is my first time auto-crossing and my car is bone stock so I doubt I'll be breaking any records. See you there.

Don't worry about breaking records... just going out to have a good time. Definitely look for us out there and come join the group.

Everyone is welcome to come out, I only put the challenge out to the G35's and 350z's because we're giving away one of our under trays, and it doesn't fit the 370z or G37. We plan on hosting some more events, and we'll open it up to everyone - this was just a trial run.

Looks like the autocross and the big track event are still open. Both events are at Auto Club Speedway, but the autocross is held in one of the large parking lots.

***Update***
Looks like it may rain this weekend... the event usually runs rain or shine, but I'll keep this thread updated if I hear anything from Speed Ventures. Last time we went out it was wet, still had a great time though sliding around! Unless the event is cancelled, we'll be there racing rain or shine!
